Sound Baths

 Sound healing is a holistic healing art that has been used for thousands of years. Everything in this world, objects, animals, and human beings have a natural vibratory rate, also known as resonance. Stress, fear, shock, negative events can affect our body and imbalance our body system. Sound healing creates an environment where the body can heal and restore the imbalanced areas back to their natural resonant frequency. It counters the body's natural fight or flight mode by activating the parasympathetic nervous system.

 

Sound therapy uses sound healing techniques to help people improve their health. Sound therapy utilizes sound healing instruments, vocal healing, and meditation. During a Sound Bath restorative yoga is beneficial for optimal relaxation.

 

In a Sound Bath, our bodies respond and resonate with the extraordinary frequencies associated with quartz crystal. Pure sound waves produced by high-quality singing bowls can sync and establish coherence with our brain waves. This supports and allows the listener and the player to relax into a lower state of brain wave such as Alpha and Theta State that promotes self-healing. Studies have been conducted that demonstrate listening to 432 Hz music can help to stimulate the brain’s alpha waves, which are associated with a state of wakeful relaxation. This can lead to increased mental clarity and focus. Alpha waves are associated with deep concentration and creativity.

 

Sound healing is known to aid in reducing stress, anxiety, tension, and in balancing mood swings. It also is known to help strengthen the immune system, lower blood pressure, cholesterol level and can help reduce the risk for coronary artery disease and stroke. Sound healing can be helpful in pain management for people with chronic pain disease. It is also known to improve sleep, especially for people who suffer from insomnia. Sound healing is a powerful technique to clear chakras and rebalance them. It can raise one’s consciousness to increase creativity and promote inspirational sparks.

 

Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls are made of 99.9% pure quartz infused with precious crystals, gemstones and/or minerals. The bowls that I have are made of pure quartz crystal, aqua aura gold, carnelian, ocean gold, and palladium.
